Privacy
Last updated: this is a pre-launch draft.
This is a plain-language description of how your data is actually handled — not legal boilerplate.
What we collect
Your account email, and whatever you choose to enter into the modules you add to your dashboard — budgets, habits, notes, and similar. We don't ask for more than a module needs to work.
How it is protected
Every account's data is isolated using database-level security rules, not just checks in application code. In practice, that means the database itself refuses to return your data to anyone else's session — it isn't a policy we promise to follow, it's how the system is built to behave.
Sharing with family or a team
Shared dashboards ("Spaces") are entirely opt-in. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly create or join one, and access within a Space is role-based and controlled by its admin.
Google Calendar
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, reminders from modules you enable are synced to your own calendar. This only happens after you explicitly connect it, and only for the modules you use.
Payments
Subscription payments are handled entirely by PayPal — we never see or store your card or bank details. PayPal shares back only what's needed to know your subscription is active: your plan, its status, and renewal date.
What happens after the trial
If you don't subscribe once your 15-day trial ends, your dashboard locks — your data isn't deleted, and it's waiting for you if you subscribe later.
Your data, your call
We do not sell your data. To request a copy of your data or to have your account deleted, contact us at hello@lifeharbor.net.
A note on this page
This page describes our actual practices in plain language. It is not a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed privacy policy, which we will publish before general availability.
